At First Stop Cosplay®, we’ve always been passionate about helping cosplayers and sewists bring their creative visions to life. Until now, our easy-to-use cosplay patterns have only been available in physical form — beautifully printed on high-quality tracing paper and delivered straight to your door. While these physical patterns will continue to be available for those who love the convenience of ready-to-use materials and our amazing pattern paper, we’re thrilled to announce an exciting new option: digital sewing patterns!

We’re kicking things off with our FSCO® DIGITAL Dual-Length Pleated Skirt Sewing Pattern, available now on Shopify and Etsy! And there’s more to come! Don’t want to wait for them to release? Order the physical patterns now, and we’ll ship them right away!

Why the shift to digital? It all comes down to our mission. We’re committed to removing the barriers that deter people from diving into cosplay and sewing. For many of our customers, especially those abroad, shipping costs and wait times have been significant obstacles. By offering digital versions of our patterns and continuing to expand our availability, we’re eliminating those hurdles and making our designs more accessible to everyone, everywhere. Thank you to those who have been asking for digital patterns for quite a while — it took some time, but we’re happy to provide!

• Printable Format: Our digital sewing patterns will be available for purchase as PDFs, so you can easily print them at home or at your local print shop.
  
• Premium Instructional Content: Just like our physical patterns, every digital pattern will include the same step-by-step digital instructions with pictures and video tutorials designed to walk you through the sewing process with ease.
  
• More Patterns Coming Soon: We’re working hard to convert our entire catalog and rolling out new versions gradually. Over the next few weeks, more and more digital patterns will be added to our website and Etsy store, so stay tuned!

We understand that everyone has different preferences when it comes to sewing. That’s why we’re continuing to offer our beloved physical patterns for those who prefer to work with our reliable, reusable, and fabric shears-friendly pattern paper. But for cosplayers and sewists who value faster access or who live in areas where shipping is challenging, digital patterns are the perfect solution. 

What’s more, digital patterns naturally cost less to produce than physical ones, allowing us to offer them at a lower price. And because we care about making cosplay and sewing accessible to everyone, we’ve also lowered the prices of our physical patterns! While everything seems to be getting more expensive these days, it’s important to us to offer the same great quality at a price you can afford, letting you sew to your heart’s delight while keeping your wallet happy. 

Our mission has always been to empower creators by providing the tools they need to express themselves. By expanding our offerings to include digital patterns, we’re taking another step toward breaking down the barriers that stand in the way of your creativity.
